Browsing the directory

You can use VibeOpen without an account. Search and filters run in your browser. Likes use an anonymous browser cookie to remember your votes and prevent repeated votes from the same browser. Like counts are public; you can undo a like with the heart button. We do not sell personal information.

Project submissions

When you submit a project, we save its public GitHub repository URL and submission status. We send public repository information and README content to OpenAI to check the project and write its directory listing. Accepted listings are public. No email address or account is required.

We keep a short-lived, hashed network identifier to limit automated abuse. The application does not retain your raw IP address.

Cookieless analytics

We use DataFast in cookieless mode to understand page visits, referrals, outbound links and copied prompts. Analytics may process browser, device, approximate location and network information. We do not send prompt contents or clipboard contents to analytics.

Our hosting provider also processes ordinary request information to serve and protect the website.

External sites

Project, documentation and source links take you to other websites with their own privacy policies. Product icons are served directly by VibeOpen.
